Pesto Hamburger Scramble

Give this meal a try, you won't be disappointed!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs hamburger or 1 ½ lbs Beef NOT, ground (reconstitute with beef broth)
  • 1 can bean sprouts
  • 1 can sliced water chestnuts
  • ½ jar of Pesto
  • 1 large handful of fresh green beans, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • ½ box of your favorite Dreamfields Pasta (example: Dreamfields Rotini) *optional
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon butter

 

Directions:

  1. In skillet, combine drained water chestnuts, bean sprouts and cut green beans, cook on high heat.
  2. Add pesto and garlic in another skillet.
  3. Add hamburger to pesto and garlic mix and cook until hamburger is brown.
  4. Boil pasta as per the package directions.
  5. Once hamburger is brown, transfer to the veggie skillet, mix well and simmer until pasta is done.
  6. Once pasta is cooked, add butter and pesto to it.
  7. Pour into veggie skillet and combine well.
  8. Add more pesto to taste and enjoy!
