Stuffed Peppers

Keen for Quinoa


  • 5 bell peppers – hollowed out
  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 1 onion – diced
  • ½ jar pesto
  • 1 box Dream Field Pasta – your choice
  • 1 cup Quinoa
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 jar Bella Vita Pasta Sauce – your choice
  • Shredded White Sharp Cheddar Cheese



  1. Cook hamburger with onions until brown.
  2. While cooking hamburger, pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Boil hollowed out bell peppers until soft.
  4. Cook quinoa in water.
  5. Mix hamburger with quinoa and ½ jar pesto.
  6. Drain peppers and stuff with burger mixture.
  7. Cover each with sauce and cheese.
  8. Bake until the cheese is melted and all is hot.
  9. Serve with pasta and sauce on the side.
  10. Enjoy.
  11. As an alternative to boiling the peppers and baking in the oven, you can simply clean out the peppers, stuff with the hamburger cheese and sauce, and put in a microwave-safe dish. Cover LOOSELY with wax paper or plastic wrap and cook on high for approximately 12 min.
